Membership with the US-Angola Chamber of Commerce gives:


Credibility

For over 15 years, the US-Angola Chamber of Commerce has served to represent the views of the private sector to officials in both US and Angolan governments. The relationships built in both governments through its advocacy for the development of the Angolan private sectorand its longstanding track record, it is seen as a relaible voice on Angolan business matters. 

Information

For members, the US-Angola Chamber of Commerce provides up-to-date information on policy and legistative changes affecting conducting business in Angola.  Members also have access to Angolan laws translated into English. A quarterly newsletter and  periodic email alerts keep members informed of the latest economic and political developments.  Members can also request information on many sectors of the Angolan economy; receive assistance with market research; facilitate in identifying local partners; and assistance in finding legal clerical and translation support.

Networking

Through out the year, the US-Angola Chamber of Commerce hosts prominent U.S. and Angolan speakers to discuss trade and investment topics, as well as Angolan's political situation. Representation office in Luanda

In 2003, the Chamber opened a semi-permanent office in Luanda to assist in the expansion of membership and services in Angola. The contact point is Frank da Cruz who formerly served with the Angolan Embassy in Washington, DC, and with BP in Angola.  The Chamber can be contacted in Angola via email at fjdacruz@angolacorpservices.com.

Assist with Consular Affairs Procedures at Embassy of Angola, U.S.A.

The Chamber assists members in consular affairs procedures at the Embassy of Angola in Washington, D.C. The Chamber offers information, visa application forms, and processing assistance to members requiring entry visas into Angola.  Please click here for more ingomration on visa procedures and fees for obtaining entry visas into Angola. The Chamber also assist with document authentication procedures for Angola.  The document authentication process is necessary for any document that is going to be usues in Angola, whether to register a non-profit organization or a branch, incorporate a company, file a power of attorney, etc.  For more information on document authentication, please
