CSO Aker maritime has been working in Angola for the past two years and has performed numerous contracts with Sonangol and foreign oil companies in Angola by mainly supporting drilling operations and offloading from the production and storage tankers.   CSO Aker has also been very active in early development design work for some of the major deepwater projects that are in the early stages of development.

Catermar U.S.A. Inc. is the U.S component of the Catermar companies.  Catermar was established in 1978 to provide remote site catering services for oil exploration and production projects in Nigeria and Angola.  Since, it has expanded its range of services and geographic areas of operations.  Catermar now operates from the tropical regions of West Africa to the arctic areas of Siberia.  Among some of the services that Catermar provides are labor and staffing services to the oil field services sector, shipbuilding and repair, and the staffing of crews for all types of waterborne craft.  Catermar’s current list of Angola clients includes Chevron, ExxonMobil, Global Marine Drilling, Sonangol, and Texaco.
